Now we’re talking…Cut Chemist has put out the first release on his Archive Series in the form of Cuttin’ Class / Rare Equation, a mix he did back in 1995, marking the first time it has been available in a high-quality mp3 format. Like the best mixes it doesn’t focus on just one style of music, there are lots of funky jazzy breaks to go along with some hip-hop and this was all done on Cut Chemist’s 1/2-Inch 8 Track Recorder so it is truly old-school sounding. If you’re already of fan of his work then you know you’ve got to have this, and if you’re not it’s time to get on board.
