Cut Brooklyn

Joel Bukiewicz is a fiction writer turned knife-maker, who founded hand-made kitchen knife manufacturer Cut Brooklyn. The career change may sound a bit odd, however the design, craftsmanship, and effort that goes into each and every one of his knives are as beautiful as a poem. Initially earning his acclaim amongst chefs and butchers in the Brooklyn New York food scene, demand for his hand-made knives has spread globally, making his brand highly revered by home and professional cooks alike. The design of each of his knives undergoes a rigorous process of refinement and each knife spends 15 hours in the hands of the maker during manufacture. Cut Brooklyn aims to create knives which acts not as an implement, but as an extension of the hand.
