I am not a blow smoke up your nether regions type of guy, and if you know me at all, you know this, but I have to give kudos out to Jay Freedman. The reason why is because he seriously knows how to design the bling at Jonathan’s Fine Jewelers. Not only is he a diamond guru, but he also knows a thing or two about custom ring design.
Jay has been with me for a while, and it took him a while to get in the groove and now there is no stopping him. He has a never ending stream of customers that come to him and loyal fans that send him referrals all the time. But, beyond that the rings that he puts out are stunningly beautiful and flawless in their design, originality and craftsmanship.
Diamond Guru
We are all diamond guru’s here. After all, we are diamond wholesalers. That means that when you come to us, we can offer you our diamonds for less than you will get them at a retailer that is brick and mortar and less than you can find them online at an eCommerce site. That also means we are all highly trained and can grade a diamond, plot a diamond and know our diamonds. We also understand diamonds and live and breathe diamonds all day long.
Diamonds are our first line of business. Buying, selling, trading.
Jewelry Designer
Our second line of business will be as a jewelry designer. After all, the diamonds have to go somewhere. They go into rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings, and those rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings have to be designed before they go to the customer or into the cases, and we have to have someone to come up with designs for all of these things.
Now, some are stock items, such as tennis bracelets and diamond stud earrings, but some are not, such as engagement rings. And, when it comes to innovative ring designs for engagement rings, Jay Freedman is the man.
Custom Ring Design
First, Jay will design anything you want. It doesn’t matter if you find it on Etsy or Pinterest. If you send it to him, he will have our bench jeweler make it for you. But, if you want something original, this is where you really get the royal treatment. When you make an appointment with Jay, you come in with some ideas and/or pictures of what you are looking for, and he will incorporate everything you want into the perfect custom ring design.
