Part of the collection of the Niagara Aerospace Museum is this handsome scale replica of a Curtiss P-1A Hawk fighter, one of two built in 1930 by David Ashley (a former Curtiss engineer). The Curtiss P-1 Hawk was the first US Army aircraft to be assigned the P (Pursuit) designation. 28 of the P-1A variant would be delivered in 1926, out of a total of 202 aircraft produced from 1925-1929.
