This diminutive Cadet was one of two aircraft flown by Jason Somes during the Wings Over Camarillo airshow. The Cadet LCA was the first production version of this wooden-construction light airplane, designed by Al Mooney while with Culver Aircraft before leaving to start his own company. First flown in 1939, In 1940 the Cadet LCA was selected by the United States Army Air Corps as being suitable for use as a radio-controlled target. The Cadet was also employed by the Civil Air Patrol and the civilian Army Courier Service. Fuji X-Pro2 w/18-135mm.
