Gucci the luxurious wearing brand has announced lately that it is going to accept paying cryptocurrency but it’s going to take place at five selected locations in the United States
It’s happening by the end of the month, this program is going to allow the seekers to do it to merchants it will be available in Gucci locations including Miami Design District, Wooster Street New York, Rodeo Drive in Los Angeles, The Shops at Crystals in Las Vegas, and Phipps Plaza in Atlanta.
Regarding the news on CNN, this will be developed to engage Gucci’s full North American network this summer.
With the use of a QR code, its available to use more than ten cryptocurrencies to buy cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Dogecoin (DOGE), Shiba Inu (SHIB), and 5 USD-pegged stable coins (GUSD, USDP, USDC, DAI, and BUSD).
According to the press, Gucci declared that it was a “digital-first luxury brand” and that this will be the next move in its “Web 3.0 journey.”
The mentioned step toward cryptocurrency at special locations is not Gucci’s first move regarding NFTs and Web3 market. the brand launched the Gucci Vault, a digital shop in the famous metaverse The Sandbox. The virtual reality space for selling both content and concrete Gucci products and also creating virtual experiences.
