Finally Crusty is in its fine dining avatar! Yes now you can enjoy your favorite Pizza in the town while sitting in a cozy environment and get pampered by the chef himself. The outlet is in front corner of Baani Sqaure in South City 2. The decor is awesome and the seating is comfortable. They have almost 6 tables inside and one table outside for the under the sky fans. The total seating is of 20 people. The music played is light and soothing, goes well with every bite of Pizza you have here.
The most important bit is the fact that their are only few people like Rohit who love to keep their passion alive through cooking. The Australian inspired chef and owner is a foodie himself. He was kind enough to show us his new place and was open to suggestions. We ordered a Veg combo (though not on the menu) which comprised of 2 drinks, a 6” garlic bread, a pasta and a 11” Pizza.
The Garlic bread was unique and in the form of a Pizza. The mild flavors just melted in your mouth. The garlic bread came with 2 dips, a Pesto Aioli and a Peri Peri mayo. The entire combination was mind-blowing and both the dips were just awesome. Next came the Vegetarian Pesto Pasta cooked by the owner himself. It was one of the kind green sauce pasta. The Pasta was a little more creamy than expected but quite filling.
The Rooafza Mojito is a experience in itself. Incredible fusion of flavors. The Pizza came next. We ordered a Half n Half Peri Peri Veg and the Traditional Veg. It is very difficult to choose between the two and pick your favorite. We can go on and on about it but the fact is, this Pizza cannot be found anywhere else. Its also difficult to imagine the inspiration for these recipes but all we can do is sit and enjoy.
They also sell a number of in-house Gelato. We also tried the Choco-chips gelato and the coffee gelato. Both fresh and tasted like heaven on earth.
The entire experience was awesome and the value for money was unbelievable. The place would soon be starting other mind-blowing offers, just imagine how incredible it would be to enjoy your favorite pizza all day long!! Now that they deliver almost all over Gurgaon and I have them on my Speed-dial!
