Use the following guidelines to promote your contest across multiple channels

The more advertising across multiple channels means more brand awareness. People turn into potential customers because they  will recognize your brand, trust it and be more likely to engage with your business.

1. Post to Twitter once a day.

Tweets get lost extremely quickly, so you very rarely need to worry about spamming your Twitter followers as only a small percentage will see each tweet due to the site’s constantly updating nature.

2. Post to Google+ once every 3 days.

3. Send one email to your email list.

Getting multiple emails about the same thing will get you an unpleasant number of unsubscribes.

4. Add a banner.

Add a Banner to the home page of your website for the duration of your contest. Have your banner click-through to your contest on your Facebook Page in a new browser tab.

5. Promote in-store and on the street.

Promote by using posters that include QR codes, NFC chips and short links for users to enter on their mobile phones.
