The biggest cryptocurrency exchange in the world by trade volume, Binance, will present Cristiano Ronaldo’s launch of his NFT collection. The cryptocurrency exchange claims that the first NFT collection will be made available on November 18 as part of an exclusive multi-year collaboration.
He Yi, co-founder, and chief marketing officer of Binance, stated, “”We believe the metaverse and blockchain are the future of the internet,” said Binance Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer He Yi. “We are honored to collaborate with Cristiano to help more people understand blockchain and showcase how we are building Web3 infrastructure for the sports and entertainment industry.”
“It was important to me that we created something memorable and unique for my fans as they are such a big part of my success,” said Ronaldo. “With Binance, I was able to make something that not only captures the passion of the game but rewards fans for all the years of support.”
The inaugural Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collection, consisting of seven animated statues with four rarity categories — Super Super Rare (SSR), Super Rare (SR), Rare (R), and Common — will be launched on November 18 at 9:00 a.m. UTC (N). From his career-defining bicycle kicks to his early days in Portugal, each NFT statue depicts a memorable moment from Ronaldo’s life.
On the Binance NFT marketplace, the 45 CR7 NFTs with the highest values will be auctioned off (5 SSR and 40 SR). NFTs will be awarded to the highest bidder following a 24-hour auction. The starting bid prices for SSR and SR will be 10,000 and 1,700 BUSD, respectively.
The Normal rarity of the remaining 6,600 NFTs (600 R and 6,000 N) will be priced at 77 BUSD on Binance.
Each rarity level will have its own set of bonuses, such as: – A private message from Cristiano Ronaldo – Autographed Binance and CR7 gear – Access to all upcoming CR7 NFT drops.
Free CR7 Mystery Boxes are available, and you can enter sweepstakes to win signed merchandise and other goodies.
In addition, Binance.com’s new customers will receive a Cristiano Ronaldo Mystery Box (and finish KYC). There may be limited-edition Ronaldo NFTs in these crates. There are CR7 Mystery Boxes available to the first 1.5 million new Binance users who register with the referral ID RONALDO.
Users in the United States who make deposits during the offer period will receive a free souvenir NFT from Binance.US, the US partner of Binance.com. Users that obtain the souvenir NFT will have future access to the whitelist for purchasing CR7 NFTs. Existing and new US customers must register on this page to participate in the deal.
