Happy New Year and thank you 2012, for all the lessons you taught me. Towards the end of last year I started living an alkaline lifestyle and got back into yoga and meditation which has kept me energised and ready for the year ahead. As food and keeping healthy plays such a big part of my life, this year I'm going to share more of my cooking and lifestyle tips to help keep your energised, happy, creative and inspired. I saw this idea on a blog (can't remember which one) but the idea has stuck with me, so instead of New Years resolutions here are 3 concepts/words I want to carry with me to shape, define and explore throughout 2013. I hope you like this idea and can use them too, or create your own set:
Create // transform ideas into projects you can be proud of
Love // everything you do
Inspire // those around you, by getting them to try something different no matter how small
2013 is going to be a great year full of delightful surprises, challenges and learning. For New Year's eve we opted to have a small party and take out all the stress of being somewhere that was too crowed, expensive and not enough space to dance. We had a great selection on mini New Year treats for our guests and to make the food look even better I used Christmas tinsel to pimp out my toothpicks, maybe a good idea for you next party?
