Plot: A group of drug addicts are besieged by a group of mysterious figures inside a rural bar. As withdrawal starts to set in, a secret one of them is carrying threatens to destroy them all.

Story: Craving starts when the patrons of a rural bar run by Shiloh (Bryant) and Les (Rose) find their night suddenly interrupted. They hear guns shots and have Gail (Rockwell), Frenzy (Underchuffler), Mac (Caliber) and Will (Roe) storm into the bar. However, they claim a bigger threat from the outside as another group board them in.

The patrons in the bar find themselves questioning their invaders or the people outside. They are left in the middle of a battle they aren’t prepared for, as the outside group claim there is a killer in the bar. What is going on is the biggest question left for the patrons of the bar.

Verdict on Craving

Craving is a horror mystery following a sudden invasion of a rural bar. It puts three groups of people against each other, the patrons, the invaders and the people outside not letting them out.

This is a movie that looks to bring plenty of twists to the table. It has a lot of characters that get an introduction but quite often are just lurking in the background. The flashbacks look to fill in the answers, which only ends up making things even more confusing. However, the mystery of who the killer is and even what they are is always on the table.

There is a great reveal of what they are up against but it is getting there which takes too long. The movie can’t be denied with its commitment to the gore effects we get. It just would have been nicer to get there earlier and keep the story a little bit simpler.

Final Thoughts – Craving delivers on the blood splatter and gore.
