COVID-19: Stop Asking For Corona Money – Bobrisky Slams Nigerians

Controversial Nigerian crossdresser, Idris Okuneye popularly known as Bobrisky has spoken out against the action of some Nigerians requesting financial assistance online.

Particularly, Bobrisky slammed those asking for help against the backdrop of the coronavirus outbreak, noting that people are soliciting for money as if its Christmas time.

He said this on Wednesday in a post on his Instagram account.

“Wait, is COVID-19 a Christmas period or public holiday? Why are people asking for corona money? I weak,” he wrote.

The COVID-19 pandemic has largely affected Nigeria’s socio-economic landscape prompting the federal government to intensify efforts to combat further spread of the virus through various initiatives.

As confirmed by the NCDC, Nigeria currently has a total of 51 confirmed cases.
