(Paris) The pandemic of the new coronavirus has made at least 638 870 dead worldwide since the WHO office in China reported the onset of the disease late December, according to a report established by AFP from official sources Friday at 7 am.

910 cases of infection were officially diagnosed in 194 countries and territories since the start of the epidemic, including at least 9 992 800 are now considered to be healed.
This number of diagnosed cases, however, only reflects a fraction of the actual number of contaminations. Some countries only test severe cases, others prioritize testing for tracing, and many poor countries have limited testing capacity.
On Thursday, 6459 new deaths and 263 974 new cases were identified in the world. The countries that recorded the most new deaths in their latest reports are the United States with 1379 new deaths, Brazil (1129) and India (779).
The United States is the most affected country in terms of both deaths and cases, with 146 68 death for 4 495 209 Identified cases, according to the Johns Hopkins University count. At least 1 414 152 people have been declared cured.
After the United States, the most affected countries are Brazil with 85 290 dead for 2 610 100 case, Mexico with 45 000 0 dead (414 161 case), the United Kingdom with 45 999 dead (301 292 case), and India with 31

China (excluding the territories of Hong Kong and Macao) officially counted a total of 78
case (102 new between Thursday and Friday), including 4634 deaths (0 new), and 78 974 healings.
Since Thursday at 08 hGMT, Fiji and Vietnam have both recorded their first deaths from the coronavirus.
Europe totaled Friday at 08 h GMT 196 780 deaths for 3 157 253 cases, Latin America and the Caribbean 194 683 death (4 733 320 cases), the United States and Canada 161 26 death (4 495 841 case), Asia 58 868 death (2 775 733 case), the Middle East 26 999 Death (1 127 821 case), Africa 18 325 death (910 325 case), and the Oceania 224 death (17 615 case).
