This intensive, hands-on, electronic tracking course is designed to give agents/officers the necessary skills to operate, install, and analyze information using the latest GPS technology and field applications. Each student will use GPS equipment from a variety of manufactures to allow them the opportunity to learn how to use this technology and practice installation techniques using a wide variety of vehicle types and locations. Students will demonstrate their comprehension of the material and techniques taught in this course through a variety of field exercises with professional role players as targeted individuals. Special training will be included on live tracking of a target vehicle using advanced cellular data services from a mobile environment.
