I’ve come to the conclusion that Im just MAD about jackets! With such a wealth of choice out there and so many high street stores selling designer look-alike’s, its hard not to lust after so many beauties!
From Biker Jackets to smart Blazers and metallic crops; Topshop and H&M have them all (not even mentioning our other fave brands such as ASOS or River Island). Lux fabrics and soft leathers reminiscent of the recent catwalk shows are everywhere, and I cant wait to stock up!
I already have a wealth of jackets, Coming from Scotland, its in my nature; like most women with a shoe obsession, I am a bit of a jacket collector and the ones above are just a sample of the many that I have been oggeling online - See my pintrest for more examples…
Its just one of the most versatile pieces of clothing..I love to layer and a new jacket with a good cut and interesting print or other details can totally change a dull boring outfit into something spectacular! - That’s my designer opinion anyway. A coat is too heavy for warm Autumnal days here in Paris, but a jacket can replace a casual cardigan (my other obsession - cardigans) In October or be worn on top of a thick jumper, with a good scarf and gloves to keep that chill off come January.
(I may also make a couple of Chanel Haute Couture Look alike’s for myself since i found the 2012/13 collection to be out of this world, Beautiful!)
