A husband and wife who came with two children and stole four milk powder tins from a supermarket in Dolekanatta area in Piliyandala were arrested.
Police said employees of the supermarket had found four cans of milk powder worth around Rs.20,000 in the woman’s handbag.
The arrested couple are residents of Dematagoda. They are to be produced in court.
