I think we’ve all missed Christian actresses and the twins, Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry since their reality show, Tia & Tamera was canceled on the Style Network a couple years back. Well, now according to Tia, we may get to see the ladies in a reboot of their 90’s sitcom, ‘Sister, Sister’.
The actress and food network host, shared with Nylon that the show is on its way back with a reboot and that both sisters are involved.
“We’re looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show,” Tia began. She added that it’s been difficult to find those people, saying, “I thought people would kind of be jumping on it, but it’s a lot harder than my sister and I thought it would be. Everything in my career has always been a challenge.”
Tia reveals that the fans are at the forefront of this endeavor.
“We’re moving forward, we’re taking those strides. They’re slow strides, but we’re pushing as hard as we can to make people happy and make our fans happy.” Fingers crossed that producers and a distributor will get on board soon, and not tell the Mowry sisters, “Go home, Roger!”
The girls also flirted with the idea on an episode of The Real with Sister, Sister co-star Marques Houston, who recently became a devout Jehovah Witness.
