‘Cotton Club’ Music Series Coming To Fox

It’s been reported that Fox is developing a music series called, Cotton Club, and LA Reid has been tapped as executive music supervisor for the series.

According to Deadline,  Cotton Club is about the interconnected lives of the black entertainers who performed there and the white gangsters who ran it.

The series is being described as  a soapy music series based in the hottest club in Harlem in the Roaring ’20s.

The series is being written by Empire co-executive producer, Ayanna Floyd, and directed by Kenny Leon.
