United States of Americana at Cottiers Theatre
Cottiers Theatre in the west end is the place to be this Monday as they play host to the one night only 'United States Of Americana' concert.
Fred isn't too happy that he hasn't got a ticket, he says he might steal mine!
Songwriters and musicians from all over the globe are playing in Cottiers on Monday to celebrate American roots music. The line up includes Canadian Meaghan Blanchard, Lucas & King from Southampton; Amythyst Kiah from Tennessee; and Roseanne Reid from Edinburgh.
Event promoter Bayile Adeoti said, "We are thrilled to be able to bring these talented women to Glasgow for what will be a very special evening. Cottiers is the perfect venue for the first 'United States of Americana' concert, we hope to grow the event year on year and bring many more talented artists to the venue, which provides the ideal setting for intimate acoustic concerts like this."
All the artists will be on stage at the one time playing the concert in an 'in the round' in Nashville style. Each artist plays while the others kick back and enjoy the show.
