The lockdown was declared in 35 countries worldwide due to the outbreak of the Corona virus. Because of this, over one billion people remained imprisoned in their homes on Sunday. To prevent the corona virus epidemic, most countries are taking strict measures such as travel restrictions and sealing of borders.
Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez has said that a more difficult time will be ahead. Italy’s Prime Minister Giuseppe Cante, the worst affected by the pandemic, in his TV address on Saturday announced the closure of all unnecessary factories.

Schools and universities have been closed and employees of private companies are working from home. The government of Iraq has also announced a lockdown across the country from Sunday until March 28.
The lockdown was implemented for three days in Jordan from Saturday. Oman has ordered currency exchange stores to be closed, along with a ban on people gathering. Malaysia deployed the military to strictly enforce the country-wide ban.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has warned that if the countrymen do not stop the virus from spreading at home, then in two to three weeks, conditions like Italy can happen here.
