Coronavirus: First Death Reported in Canada, 70 Thousand Prisoners Released in Iran

First death in Canada due to the deadly coronavirus has been confirmed. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Lynn Valley Care Center in British Columbia.

According to officials, the total number of coronaviruses in Canada has risen to 71. A total of 14 new infections have been confirmed by Canadian authorities since Saturday.

At the same time, Iran has released about 70 thousand prisoners in view of the outbreak of Coronavirus.

A website linked to Iran’s judicial system was quoted by Iranian judicial chief Ibrahim Reci as giving information in this regard on Monday that around 70,000 prisoners were released.

Reise said that during the release of prisoners, care was taken that this does not create insecurity in the society.
