Corona Virus Pandemic: Wimbledon Canceled, First Time After World War II

Wimbledon News: Due to the corona virus epidemic, many big sports tournaments in the country and the world have either been canceled or have been pushed forward. It has also been decided to cancel the iconic Grand Slam of tennis, Wimbledon, after postponing the Olympics for a year.

This is the first time since the Second World War that Wimbledon had to be canceled.

On Wednesday, the All England Lawn Tennis and Crochet Club has decided that Wimbledon will be canceled due to the corono virus pandemic. The 134th championship will be held from 28 June to 11 July 2021.
