By Simplyfutb01 @simplyjuan11

CONMEBOL confirmed on Thursday night that Brazilian side Corinthians was hit with some heavy penalties after the tragic incident that occurred on Wednesday night when a 14-year-old San José fan died.

CONMEBOL brought down the hammer on the club as they will not be able to play with fans at the Pacaembu. Theyu will also not be allowed to bring traveling fans to visiting matches for the rest of Copa Libertadores.

This is going to take place for a period of time no more than 60 days until a final judgment is made.

Obviously, the home factor is a huge one for o Timão, but they are also one of the best traveling teams in all of South American football… there was lots of speculation about the fact that they could have even been kicked out of the Copa Libertadores despite being the reigning champs.

What do you think?
