Corey Feldman Was Busted For Pot
The Blast reports that Corey Feldman was recently busted for speeding in a hotboxed RV filled with Angels. Apparently Corey’s STILL tearing up the highways and byways of America with his Angelic 2 the Core Tour, which has been on the road since June and is booked through November. Dude’s got stamina, I’ll give him that.
According to The Blast
Mangham Police Chief Perry Fleming tells The Blast Feldman’s R.V. was pulled over for speeding Saturday night while on his way with bandmates to perform at the Live Oaks Bar and Ballroom in Monroe. Fleming says when his officers ran Feldman’s driver’s license, it came back suspended. The officers also observed a “strong odor” of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
I guess the cops in Louisiana don’t fall for the old “we ran over a skunk, officer” routine. Corey gave consent to have the vehicle searched and the cops found some herb. The amount was small enough to qualify as “personal use.” Corey was sober, but was still taken to jail and had to pay a fine for “misdemeanor possession and for speeding”.
No big whoop for Corey but some of his crew found themselves in hotter water. Cops also found prescription medication (namely Xanax) in the van and members of Corey’s crew were charged with possession and released after posting bail. Corey #tooktotwitter in ALL-CAPS to defend his crew and himself. Corey claims the weed wasn’t his and that his crew had prescriptions for both the pot and the pills.

Honestly, Corey should have just let folks run with the story. If you’re going for a tough, rock and roll persona, don’t tell everybody your drugs were legal and talk about how much fun you had with the cops. Only Melissa Etheridge can do that with a straight face and get away with her street cred intact.
Clearly this pot bust is not the crime of the century but the resulting publicity might help Corey with his primary crusade; exposing Hollywood’s pedo problem. Corey has been saying for years that he and many of his peers (most notably his dear friend Corey Haim) were preyed upon by powerful men in Hollywood and that it’s an open secret. Corey is using the recent flood of accusations of sexual harassment and assault to urge witnesses and victims to speak up about child sexual abuse. Corey posted on Twitter that he can’t name names because he is afraid he’ll get sued, and because of a vow he made to Corey Haim’s mother to keep Corey Haim’s name out of it. But Corey would really, really like to bust this shit wide open.

And things so seem to be slowly moving in the right direction with several male victims of harassment and abuse coming forward. People notes that actor turned filmmaker Blaise Godbe Lipman (Weeds and Hawaii-Five-O.) has recently claimed he was served alcohol and assaulted by APA agent Tyler Grasham when he was 17. Other actors who were represented by Tyler Grasham (including the kid from Stranger Things) jumped from APA after the accusations against Tyler came out.
So let’s see, Corey’s RV was pulled over by the cops the day after he went off about pedos on Twitter? Why do I have a feeling that the cops acted on an anonymous tip that came from a payphone in the woods?
