Story: Cordelia starts as we meet the shy timid Cordelia (Cambell-Hughes) who lives with her more outgoing twin sister Caroline (Cambell-Hughes). There has been an incident in her past that has caused her to withdraw from the world. One day she meets her upstairs neighbor musician Frank (Flynn).
However, when Cordelia starts getting unwarranted phone calls, she finds her life turning into panic. This leads to her wanting to find safety and unsure whether to trust anyone in her life anymore.
Verdict on Cordelia
Cordelia is a horror drama following a young woman who is struggling to cope in the aftermath of an incident. She keeps to herself until she meets the upstairs neighbor. However, things in her life are a lot more complicated than she ever imagined.
This is a movie that shows that someone living with survivor guilt can find their lives being very different. However, the story goes down an uncomfortable path. It doesn’t feel like the story connects well enough and leaves us feeling more dazed and confused by what we see.
Final Thoughts –Cordelia is a strange movie that never feels complete.
