Coolpad Max Launched for Rs. 24,999; First Impressions

Chinese smartphone brand Coolpad has launched another device within a span of 15 days. Earlier an upgrade to Coolpad Note 3, Note 3 Plus, was launched and today, a flagship device Coolpad Max has been launched for Rs. 24,999 which will be exclusively sold on Amazon.

Coolpad Max comes with 4GB RAM and has Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor. It features a 5.5-inch FHD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Coolpad Max comes with a 2,800 mAh battery along with Quick Charge 3.0 and features a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 lens while it has a 5 MP front camera. Coolpad Max features metal unibody design with the back panel looking very similar to HTC One A9.

The phone will be available in two color variations, Royal Gold and Rose Gold. The highlight of the device is its “dual-system” which allows for encryption of the phone user’s calls and texts and a distinctive Space management capability that enables users to have two accounts on WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger and other apps.

Coolpad Max is 7.6mm thin and only 170g in weight with an Edge Curved Glass 2.5D screen reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 anti-scratch and anti-fingerprint coating films. This smartphone is priced at a rather steep price Rs 24,999 which is in stark contrast with the previous devices that were power packed and true value for money.
