Verdict on Conspiracy of Fear
Recap
The movie follows a fearless journalist trying to expose a corrupt leader. He wants to release a controlling drug, and she wants to prove the danger it has on society.
Best Parts
The world created is interesting, a post-apocalyptic non-technology world. It isn’t complete doom and gloom, more returned to an older fashioned way.
Worst Parts
The movie struggles to feel like there is any urgency behind the events. It can feel like a few stories are going on, but they always feel disconnected leaving it feeling flat for the most part.
Final Thoughts –Conspiracy of Fear is a slow thriller that lacks a connected feeling.
