The nightime darkness provides the backdrop for this classic flying boat illuminated by hangar lighting. This example was delivered to the U.S. Navy in March 1944 and later retired from active military duty in June 1950. Following several sales in the civilian market, it was acquired by the Erickson Aircraft Collection in 1990 and restored. Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
