Plot: A successful woman’s life seems perfect with a thriving bakery business and teenage daughter until she realizes her husband is cheating.  Her estranged mother has been hospitalized with a terminal condition with little hope to regain consciousness.  Her faith is challenged as she struggles with forgiveness and reconciliation of the past so she can be present for those who need her now.

Story: Consider the Lilies starts when baker and mother Diana (Cushman) finds her perfect life come crashing down around her. First, she learns her estranged mother Patricia (Ward) is involved in an accident. Then, her husband Michael (Burchell) has been cheating on her. At the same time, the third thing sees her teenage daughter Kelsey (Vazquez) running away from home.

As Diana struggles to cope with everything, she must look back on her own life choices to do the right thing for herself and the people she loves. This sees her understand that not everything is going to be perfect and sees a new direction for her life.

Verdict on Consider the Lilies

Consider the Lilies is a drama following a woman who believed she had a perfect life. However, she starts seeing her life come crashing down around her. All leading to her reassessing her own choices to make the most of her own.

This is a drama that plays into the faith you have in life. It shows how life can be seen in a different way after things come crashing down around them. This shows life isn’t always going to be easy, it is what you make of it in the end. There are a few questionable decisions going on, which lead to things getting out of control.
