Courtney Ford (Portia Bellefleur) is expecting something extra special this summer! The actress announced via her Twitter account yesterday that she and her husband, actor Brandon Routh, are expecting their first child!
“Ok, here it is! Brandon & I are so excited to announce that there is indeed a Baby Routh on the way!! WHAT? YES! Summer 2012
”
The pair has kept the news quiet until now which proved to be challenge for the working actress. In addition to her role on True Blood, Ford recently completed a six episode arc as Lily on Parenthood. And by the end, she admitted to People that it was hard to keep telling everyone on set she had the flu:
“It started getting difficult to hide what was happening. Flu and food poisoning excuses only work for so long, and by the last episode I could no longer button my pants! I just tried to joke that I had a big lunch!”
