Conan O'Brien's 28-year run as a late-night television host is coming to an end. On Tuesday, WarnerMedia announced that O'Brien's nightly talk show, Conan, will end at the end of season 10 in June 2021. The host will instead start a weekly variety show on the company's HBO Max streaming platform.
"In 1993, Johnny Carson gave me the best advice of my career:" Get on a streaming platform as soon as possible, "O'Brien jokingly said in a publication on HBO Max, and look forward to a free subscription. "

O'Brien's travel special Conan Without Borders continues, WarnerMedia said. Episodes of the series in which he travels to countries like Cuba, Armenia and Haiti are currently available on Netflix and HBO Max.
The television presenter has had a varied, if sometimes rocky, career in late night television. He started with Conan O'Brien on Late Night in 1993 before moving to The Tonight Show in 2009, where he hosted for less than a year due to a disagreement with NBC over the period of his show. He then moved to TBS, where he has hosted his Conan night program ever since. In 2019, the hour-long show was cut down to half an hour as O'Brien's team Coco worked to expand their online and touring efforts.
