The grandmasters of brutal dooming slowness are back with a DIY series of 10" EPs - released directly by the band and strictly limited to 320 copys.
"Invinciblade" starts as an up-tempo wrecking ball that tears everything down in less than 3 minutes. Unusually fast with devastatingly brutal riffing, thundering drums. A surprising but successful start to the new series!
"Time Becomes Master" starts slower, with a threateningly distorted intro that builds up more and more and then falls over the listener as a viscous riff storm.
This is Conan as we love them. Abyssal deep guitars and sludgy shouting.
The third and final song is a cover of Fudge Tunnel's "Hate Song" - which could be because, following the departure of Chris Fielding, David Ryley (former bassist of Fudge Tunnel) is now in the band.
Despite its short running time of just under 15 minutes, Conan's first edition of the DIY series is not just for collectors and completists, but the first part of a series that will definitely leave you wanting more!
