Compilation album Punk Goes Pop 5 drops Nov. 6

The latest album in the Punk Goes… series will release next month.

Punk Goes Pop Volume 5 is the thirteenth installment in the Punk Goes… series. Created by Fearless Records, the albums feature covers of Top 40 hits done by musicians from alternative genres like pop-punk and post-hardcore.

The tracklisting for the new album is as follows:

1)   Memphis May Fire – “Grenade” (Bruno Mars)

2)   Upon This Dawning – “Call Me Maybe” (Carly Rae Jepsen)

3)   Mayday Parade feat. Vic Fuentes– “Somebody That I Used To Know” (Gotye feat. Kimbra)

4)   We Came As Romans – “I’m Glad You Came” (The Wanted)

5)   Like Moths to Flames – “Some Nights” (fun.)

6)   Breathe Carolina – “Billie Jean” (Michael Jackson)

7)   Forever the Sickest Kids – “We Found Love” (Rihanna)

8)   Issues – “Boyfriend” (Justin Bieber)

9)   The Maine – “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” (Cyndi Lauper)

10) Crown The Empire – “Payphone” (Maroon 5)

11) Craig Owens – “Paradise” (Coldplay)

12) The Word Alive – “Mercy” (Kanye West)

13) Secrets – “Ass Back Home” (Gym Class Heroes)

Though the full-length album won’t be available for purchase until Nov. 6, Memphis May Fire’s cover of “Grenade” and Mayday Parade’s cover of “Somebody That I Used To Know” are already available on iTunes.

Upon This Dawning’s cover of “Call Me Maybe” is available for free download on the Punk Goes… website.
