Thursday was a huge day for me, I had so much on my schedule! I got to meet Chuck Palahniuk and that was just the beginning. The Paranormal Passion panel kicked off my morning and Kendare Blake (her books are reviewed here, here and here) signed my copies of Girl of Nightmares and Anna Dressed in Blood at the signing:
I loved how she signed the books, “Happy Nightmares!”
The Paranormal Passion panel was really interesting, I loved what was said about the paranormal genre opening up so many possibilities for creativity. That’s why Justine and I love it so much!
I also bought a copy of Claudia Gray’s Spellcaster, I reviewed an e-book of it and couldn’t wait for the real thing! They were both so nice and sweet in person and so gracious to all the fans who came.
I also did a meet-up with a new friend I had been tweeting back and forth with, Rachel:

I didn’t make it to the Divergent and Ender’s Game panel simply because it probably would’ve required waiting in line through all of these other great panels and events I wanted to go to, but I’m so glad I did what I did. I absolutely love author signings and interacting personally with writers I dedicate a lot of time to is so rewarding!
