Story: Come Home starts when Ike (Uche) and Mel (Zoz) start a fresh life in the Adirondack Mountains. They get a visit from their close friends Arjun (Sridharan) and Taylor (Ashbrook) giving them a chance of peace away from New York City.

Ike and Mel must decide if this is the right choice for them but a story about it being haunted starts to take control. It leads to them seeing an unknown woman lurking through the woods and the friends trying to understand what the spirit wants.

Verdict on Come Home

Recap

This movie follows 2 couples spending time in a remote mountain but find themselves dealing with a forest spirit. However, it pushes them to their limits as they learn what is happening in the area.

Best Parts

The movie brings a mystery for city folk to understand and shows them out of their depths. It doesn’t hold back with them looking and acting out of place. The open woodlands are also beautiful to travel through.

Worst Parts

The story struggles to breakout of just strange and often finds itself moving too slowly. It doesn’t seem to get going and most of the events feel more like they escalate randomly, rather than gradually. This ends up making the pace difficult to keep up with, as the early slow pace doesn’t improve the final outcome.

Final Thoughts Come Home struggles to get going and leaves us feeling like we wanted more.
