Colour is the visual perception based on the electromagnetic spectrum. Though color is not an inherent property of matter, colour perception is related to an object's light absorption, reflection, emission spectra and interference.
In the visual arts, colour theory is the body of practical guidance for color mixing and the visual effects of a specific color combination. Colour terminology based on the color wheel and its geometry separates colours into primary colour, secondary colour, and tertiary color. The understanding of color theory dates to antiquity. Aristotle and Claudius Ptolemy discussed which and how colours can be produced by mixing other colours.
In color theory, a colour scheme is the choice of colours used in various artistic and design contexts. For example, the "Achromatic" use of a white background with black text is an example of a basic and commonly default color scheme in web design.
Forget all the above – this white pigeon, obviously coloured artificially does attract me !
