Story: Colors of Evil: Red starts when Leopold Bilski (Gierszal) is given a homicide case, where a young woman is brutally murdered. The victim’s mother Helena Bogucka (Ostaszewska) is left devastated, and the prime suspect has just been released from prison for a similar murder. However, he claims his innocence of the original crime and commits suicide at the thought of being framed again.
Leopold wants to investigate the case more, but his higher-ups want the case closed for good. He refuses to accept this and teams up with Helena to investigate the murder deeper, believing there could still be a serial killer on the loose.
Verdict on Colors of Evil: Red
Colors of Evil: Red is a dark crime thriller following a prosecutor investigating a twisted murder. He teams up with the victim’s mother and it takes them down an extremely dark path, they never imagined.
This movie should come with a warning because of the graphic nature of the crimes. Outside of that, we get a mystery that is filled with mystery and doesn’t hold back on what we will be put through. It keeps us guessing to the truth and shows the corruption within the system. This proves that dark crime stories can be uncomfortable but engaging as we get a great addition to the darkness in the minds of the creators.
