Colorblock

By Masfashion

Colorblocking has been around for years but I have been seeing it pop up around magazines and websites as a spring trend (Instyle + Refinery 29 agree). It is an extremely easy style to adopt and can effortlessly be adapted to your personal taste. I love a good minimal look – I hate fuss, wearing too many different things, and I very rarely change my jewelry out. So for me, a colorblocking outfit entails wearing solid items that are easy, comfortable, and with very minimal accessories. You can take this trend and be as minimal as you want or as crazy as you can, trust me, it has all been done! Just make sure your pieces are of different color but similar tones. Actually, scratch that. Right now anything in fashion works so whatever you feel like wearing – wear it and make it your own! I could totally see someone coloblocking with a neon top and dark solid bottoms. Hmmm, maybe I just got an idea! Enjoy!
