The more I've read and learned about interior design, the more I've become fascinated by Feng Shui. Now, whether you believe Feng Shui works or not, it can have significant effects on your mood. (Hey, we could all use some zen and positive energy in our lives, right? I know I can!) For example- color! According to psychologists, different colors trigger different emotions. Color enriches our lives on many different levels- psychologically, aesthetically, and physically... We've all subconsciously experienced this at some point. Here are some color inspirations to try in your own home. Does it work?
Black- Seriousness, formality, wisdom. Add black to an office to increase mental activity. 
Red- Luck, strength, and passion. Incorporate a splash of red in a social area to attract positive energy and passion to your life.
Green- Growth, Relaxing. Add a live green plant in your bedroom to improve your love life.
Blue- Serenity, purity, dignity. Paint a room in your house blue to feel serene and zen.
