Writer/Producer Colby Wedgeworth leads GMA Dove Awards nominations with eight nominations.
Having relocated to Nashville less than four years ago from Sacramento, CA, the songwriter/producer has hit the ground running, finding immediate success both writing and producing radio hits.
Wedgeworth is nominated for Song of the Year (“Old Church Choir,” “Unfinished”), Songwriter of the Year, Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year (“When We Pray,” “Old Church Choir”) and Pop/Contemporary Album of the Year (Out Of The Dark, Different, Hills and Valleys).
In 2017, Wedgeworth won the ASCAP Song of the Year award for Jordan Feliz’s “The River.” Wedgeworth’s writing and producing talents are also found on a multitude of popular radio singles including Colton Dixon’s “All That Matters,” Zach Williams’ “Old Church Choir, Mandisa’s “Unfinished” and many more.
The Dove Awards are October 16th in Nashville.
