Everywhere we look, wonderful words could be found that aim at describing what the palate should be able to perceive when drinking some coffees.
“flowery aroma, pronounced citrus flavour with lively, yet soft aftertaste…”
“Arabica highland coffee with light citrus note and fresh aroma”
“vibrant hint of citrus”
“leaves a hint of citrus”
I put some ingredients in my mortar and let my “own” citrus-coffee flavour take place.
- 21 g arabica coffee
- 1 g coarse salt
- 1/4 TL cocoa powder (for baking)
- zest of 1/2 lime
Pour about 20 ml hot water over the ingredients in a french press and let rest 4 minutes. Serve in a pre-warmed small cup.
