Cody Longo’s Cause of Death: Official Autopsy Report Reveals How Actor, 35, Died Nearly After 4 Months

Almost four months since Cody Longo died, the cause of the “Days of Our Lives” actor’s death has been confirmed.

Famed actor Cody Longo died at 35 Years Old on February 8, 2023. Now, the cause of death has been revealed nearly four months later. Longo’s cause of death was chronic ethanol abuse and the manner of death was natural, TMZ reports. 

The official autopsy documents also note that Longo’s body was decomposing. Further, in the papers, it was also stated that the room where Longo’s body was recovered was littered with alcohol bottles, according to police.

Following the news of his death, his wife, Stephanie Nicole Clark said in a statement,

Cody was our whole world. The kids and I are shattered and beyond devastated. He was the best dad and the best father. We will always and forever miss you and love you.

In 2020, Cody was taken into custody in the US on accusation of domestic abuse. Further, his family also discussed how he was struggling with alcoholism during a TMZ interview. Cody allegedly visited rehab several times as well.

Cody Longo began his acting career in 2008 when he landed a spot on the English film Ball Don’t Lie. He debuted in his first film as Dave. He went on to have an illustrious film career, starring in box office hits such as Fame, High School, Piranha 3D, and Promoted. Cody also played some outstanding roles in drama TV series like Medium, Days Of Our Lives, and Nashville.

Shortly before Longo’s death, he had been working on a myriad of projects. He was last seen in the 2018 film Death House, wherein he played the role of Agent Jae Novak. He had several other projects in the works at the time of his death.
