Verdict on Code 8 Part II
Code 8 Part II is a sci-fi action movie following the battle between people with abilities and people trying to stop them. They want to use technology to gain their powers and clean up the streets for their own reasons. Now, two estranged brothers must work together to save the latest victim.
This is a movie that wants to put more focus on treating people who are different, in a different way. It brings the estranged partnership to life like many films before it and offers the protect a child from danger storyline. However, it doesn’t seem to unlock enough of the bigger potential in the powers and ends up feeling like something might be missing. There is a story about hope in a desperate time, but everything feels like we could have had a lot more to what we see.
Where to Watch
