CNN News Anchor Don Lemon Sister Has Died In Accidental Drowning

CNN News anchor, Don Lemon’s oldest sister has passed away in an accidental drowning in Louisiana.

According to the  The Times-Picayune, L’Tanya “Leisa” Lemon Grimes, 58, died Wednesday after she fell into a neighborhood pond in Livingston Parish.   Grimes appeared to have tripped and fallen into the water while fishing in the neighborhood pond.

 The Lemon/Grimes family released the following statement. “The Lemon/Grimes family would like to thank everyone for their condolences and prayers at this time. Our family has suffered the tragic loss of L’Tanya ‘Leisa’ Lemon Grimes and we are leaning on each other for strength at this time. We appreciate privacy as we grieve the loss of our loved one,” the family said in a statement.
