Clockwork Princess (Infernal Devices #3)

By Pamelascott

Tessa Gray should be happy - aren't all brides happy?

Yet as she prepares for her wedding, a net of shadows begins to tighten around the Shadowhunters of the London Institute.

A new demon appears, one linked by blood and secrecy to Mortmain, the man who plans to use his army of pitiless automatons, the Infernal Devices, to destroy the Shadowhunters. Mortmain needs only one last item to complete his plan. He needs Tessa. And Jem and Will, the boys who lay equal claim to Tessa's heart, will do anything to save her.

I loved this conclusion to The Infernal Devices series. This was my favourite book in the trilogy.

This is the way a trilogy should end, with all the threads and loose ends resolved and the future ahead.

Everything set up in Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Princes concerning Mortmain and his insane automaton plan comes full circle. I loved the way events played out in unexpected and brilliant ways.

The love triangle between Jem, Will and Tessa plays an integral part in this book and it's not cheesy at all. I loved where the author takes their story and the link to what happens in The Mortal Instruments.

I loved the way Clockwork Princess concludes with Tessa revealing just how powerful she is.

I have the new series, The Dark Artifices on my kindle and really look forward to reading it.
