Clinton/Sanders Versus The Leading Republican Candidates
A couple of days ago, I presented the party preferences for president as revealed by a new national Public Policy Polling survey (done between August 28th and 30th of a random national sample of 1,254 registered voters, with a margin of error of 2.8 points). Today, I show you another part of that same survey -- the results when Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders were matched with five of the leading Republican candidates.
The chart shows the net advantage (or disadvantage) that the two Democrats would have -- taking the Democratic percentage and subtracting the Republican percentage of support. That means a positive number favors the Democrat, and a negative number favors the Republican.
I'll let the chart speak for itself.
