Description: Tchin tchin to all my social followers!

We can’t really share a classic champagne toast together…but we wish you a champagne inspired life. Consider creating the classic French 76 cocktail. You can Google the recipe. When you take your first sip and you’re feeling blissful glee on your tastebuds, think of all your friends, loved ones and your creativity…and salute them.

In my studio we favor Madame Clicquot Ponsardin’s Veuve Clicquot, although we have been known to celebrate our successes in life with Dom Perignon or Moet Chandon…and if it’s really a special occasion Cristal champagne helps to celebrate a marriage, a birth or just making it through a stressful day.

With the painting Clicquot the moment I finished the work I realized that this might just might be the visual embodiment of how champagne actually tastes. It is a visual interpretation of how you can “see” just how Clicquot champagnes’s vibrant sharp little bubbles feel on your senses. Bright straw yellow, a little tingly to the nose, but a whole lot of fun. Note the strong use of Clicquot orange and the flamboyant and lively brush strokes. It creates joy just by looking at the artwork.

If you are an artist remember your successes and celebrate them often.
If you are a art collector remember to celebrate each artwork you acquire with a toast to yourself for making the world a little more creative by supporting an artist.
