Age doesn’t matter indeed, especially when it comes to Walt Disney movies. And of course, when it comes to Walt Disney, we really get so attached with their songs. Oh, I don’t know with you, but most of the songs Walt Disney has in their cartoon movies always get me the chills. I superbly love them. From their early movies like Beauty and the Beast, Lion King, and The Little Mermaid to Mulan, Hercules, and Tangled, their songs are not just inspirational and pleasant to hear but they are also very reliable resources to help young learners learn language excellently.
I personally can attest that Walt Disney songs have helped me a lot with developing my language skills, especially the English language. Since I find Walt Disney movies fascinating and their songs appealing, I don’t just imitate and memorize their script, I also get hooked up with their songs. With this, I gradually and unconsciously develop my English skills especially the aspect of vocabulary and pronunciation. Do you know that I only knew the English word “cavern” in the Little Mermaid movie? Ariel was singing this, and at that time, I finally knew that there was such word as that.
I know I’m not alone with this passion for Walt Disney songs. That’s why I encourage young learners to take advantage of this passion to help them selves learn English language. Let’s start from these three songs. You are surely familiar with these when you are hooked up with Disney movies; so here it goes:
I just can’t wait to be King
The Lion King
When Will My Life Begin
Tangled
I’ll make a Man out of you
Mulan
Yes, these songs bring back memories, indeed. I wish I could post every Walt Disney song here but we’re limited, you know. if you want to have a more and further knowledge about how to learn English language excellently, you can browse our site.
