Clash Royale: Your Guide to Magic Items

On April 5, 2021, there was a big update for Clash Royale. It added something known as “Magic Items,” which could be found in Supercell’s other game, Clash of Clans.

Now that Magic Items are in the game, it’s easier for us to level up our cards quickly or even open boxes fast.

This piece will help you learn more about these Clash Royale Magic Items and show you how to best use them.

Understanding Magic Items in Clash Royale

In Supercell’s very popular mobile strategy game Clash of Clans, magic things were already very important. Now they’re here to help you in Clash Royale.

For most of us, this makes the game easier because we don’t like having to wait a long time to open boxes or get bigger.

Anyone who is at least King Level 4 can get Magic Items.There is a count on how many magic items you can have at once, and this count changes based on your King Level.

When you buy Magic Items in the Shop, they may cost more than you thought. When you improve your cards, it gives you an edge in a close fight. It’s possible to find them in Shop Offers, Pass Royale, Trophy Road, Challenges, and Chests.

Guide to Magic Items in Clash Royale

Wild Cards

They are applied to any card to add upgrading progress. You choose a card that requires an upgrade but is lacking a few cards to complete in order to have a deeper understanding of it.

Here’s where Wild Cards become relevant. You can substitute any unlocked card with one of these cards. Restrictions depend on your King Level and the Wild Card’s rarity.

Chests, the Trophy Road, Special Challenges, Shop offerings, Free and Pass Royale are some of the places where you may find them.

You may get a lot of Wild Cards, particularly in Pass Royale, and you can gather enough of them to obtain almost half of an upgrade. You have a strong possibility of getting Wild Cards from Royal Chests, and the Legendary’s King Chest will always give you Wild Cards.

To Note:

• He or she may gather wild cards above their storage limit if you are close to their cap and they get a stack of them. The cards will also instantly change into a random card of the same rarity if you have maxed out your inventory and have a stack of Wild Cards.
• Similar to how you now get cards for any of their maxed cards, you will receive the Gold equivalent if that random card is already maxed.

Common

• Maximum Number allowed: 50-5000

The kind of Wild Cards that enhance Common cards. They are hard to get as you need a lot of them to upgrade Common cards. The amount of collectible Wild Cards that you may have depends on the arena you’re in.

Rare

• Maximum Number allowed: 20-1000

Wild card types that are utilized to enhance rare card upgrades. Once again, 200 cards are difficult to get, particularly with F2P players. The amount of collectible Wild Cards that you may have depends on the arena you’re in.

Epic

• Maximum Number allowed: 2-200

Type of wild cards that are added to epic cards to provide them boosts. The amount of collectible Wild Cards that you may have depends on the arena you’re in.

Legendary

• Maximum Number allowed: 1-20

Type of Wild Cards that are added to legendary cards to enhance them. The amount of Wild Cards that may be collected in a game varies according on the Arena you are in. However, the player may only use a maximum of one card until Hog Mountain (Arena 10).

Elite Wild Cards

• Maximum Number allowed: 400,000

upercell added the Elite Wild Cards to the game with the Card Evolution update. Although still part of the Wild Cards, they provide a straight path from Level 14 to Level 15. Shop offers, Special Event Challenges, and Level 14 card overflow are the ways in which you may get them.

Depending on the Card’s rarity, a certain amount of normal Cards may be obtained from the extra Shards. These are the card numbers.

• Common: 1000 Cards
• Rare: 250 Cards
• Epic: 40 Cards
• Legendary: 4 Cards
• Champion: 4 Cards

Book of Cards

You may immediately get the necessary amount of cards for an upgrade level with these magic items. But keep in mind that the update isn’t free.

To get the enhancement of your choosing, you have to possess the Gold. When you upgrade cards from Level 12 to Level 13, particularly after you’ve just upgraded to Level 12 and wish to upgrade to Level 13 right away, the book’s worth reaches its maximum.

Hence, the best recommendation is to use it to troops or structures that take a long time to fully upgrade and complete.

In addition, their magical strength surpasses that of Wild Cards. One Book of Cards may only be used at a time. Books of Cards are offered by Shops and may be obtained for free in Royale.

To Note:

• The highest limit stays the same at the King levels.
• If you try to collect a Book and you are over the limit, you’ll get a Warning for the same.
• Your book will be transformed to its overflow value if you continue.
• All the books give 100 Gems for overflows.

Book of Books

• Maximum Number allowed: 1

It may be seen as a generic portrayal of the Card Deck. You can use the Book of Cards on any troop or building without considering rarity, and the Book of Books on any troop or structure. Once again, in order to enhance that specific card, the user must have the necessary Gold.

Magic Coin

• Maximum Limit allowed: 1

You may consider the Magic Coin to be the Book of Cards’ or Book of Books’ co-conspirator. Although Book of Cards/Book of Books provides you with the cards needed to finish an upgrade, the former also provides you with the necessary quantity of gold.

Put simply, it gives you the gold you need to upgrade a card to the next level without depleting any of your own money. The best way to make the most of it is to use the Magic Coin to upgrade a card from Level 12 to Level 13, which is the most expensive upgrade level at 100,000 Gold.

To Note:

• The maximum limit does not change at the King levels.
• If you try to collect a Magic Coin and you are over the limit, you’ll get a Warning for the same.
• If you proceed, your Magic Coin will be converted to its overflow value.
• All the books give 100 Gems for overflows.

Chest Key

• Maximum Number allowed: 5-10

Chest Keys do not currently consider themselves to be the most significant. Not all of us players have our chest slots filled with 24-hour chests (Legendary Chests and Mega Lightning Chests), and the longest ones often take 24 hours to open.

It is still a useful Magic Item, however. Any chest may be quickly unlocked without any gem expenditure. Chest Keys are available via Shop offerings, Special Challenges, and the Free and Pass Royales. Extra Chest Keys may be exchanged for 100 Gold apiece.

Card Boost Potion

• Maximum Limit allowed: 8

The Card Boost Potion, our next Magic Item, works similarly to Pass Royale’s Level Boost in that it may momentarily elevate a card’s level to equal the King Tower Level for an hour.

Obtaining them in-game is quite uncommon since they are only available via Special Challenges and Shop offerings.

Wild Shard

• Maximum Limit allowed: 6

Supercell revealed Wild Shards with the cards, much like Elite Wild Cards. Use them for any card you need, as they function like Evolution Shards. You can also use them in tandem. You may get free Wild Shards from the Shop, Events, and Challenges.
