City Plan Milan Prelude 2020
Piano City Milano is one of the events which, despite its "young age" (it is now in its ninth edition), has quickly entered the hearts of all music lovers. An opportunity to meet around the seven notes and in the presence of their greatest interpreters who in 2020 has seen the initiative come postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic.
But if the virus can stop people, it cannot stop emotions and in fact, even if Paino City Milan will be postponed in the autumn, Piano City Milano Preludio 2020 kicks off tomorrow, a taste of the event that in three days will still give the opportunity everyone to experience the magic of the piano anyway.
Concerts, many, important will be the heart of this prelude that will see the likes of Chilly Gonzales, Ludovico Einaudi, Joep Beving, Rosey Chan, Enrico Intra E Rufus Wainwright perform in their home or in symbolic places of the city not yet open to the public for a series of live music that can be followed on the website (www.pianocitymilano.it) and on the Facebook page of Piano City Milano (https://bit.ly/Pianomipreludio_Evento_FB).
And then with Piano City Milano Preludio the post lockdown concerts return in the versions of the Piano Rickshaw by Fabrizio Grecchi which tomorrow, Saturday 23 May, in Central Station will give life to a tribute to the Beatles and the Tandem Piano of Simone Quaranta which in the Duomo district will focus on blues and jazz atmospheres.
Also interesting is the Piano Sleep which, on the nights of Friday and Saturday, starting from midnight will focus on Satie's work to accompany the evenings by proposing the Vexations produced by the Miela Theater in Trieste for the 154 years of the composer. Piano City Milano is a project of Associazione Piano City Milano with the Municipality of Milan, curated by Ponderosa Music & Art and Accapiù, with the artistic direction of Ricciarda Belgiojoso and Titti Santini.
